Hmm, well, what can I say?  Richard Dean Anderson (RDA) makes me laugh. RDA makes me smile. RDA can bring tears to my eyes when he's hurting (emotionally and/or physically - yes, I think he's a good actor). RDA touches me in places where I shouldn't want to be touched, but I do....

Clearly I like Richard Dean Anderson. Clearly I like looking at Richard Dean Anderson. Clearly I'm not the only one, or you wouldn't be here looking at this web site, would you?!

Over the years I've amassed a fairly good-sized collection of online digital photos of RDA. On a whim, after discovering the wacky world of RDA/Jack thunkdom on Gateworld.net's Forums, I decided to dive into the pool and build a little web site in order to share my private stash of screencaps of SG1 Jack with the GGG (GW Gutter Gals). And as time went on and as the waters rose, it became apparent that many of us droolers and thunkers agree that seeing RDA dressed in leather is a 'Good Thing' (that is, if we prefer seeing him clothed at all). So I took it upon myself to gather all the photos I had of RDA wearing leather throughout the decades, and put them into one place for our viewing pleasure. And this is the result.

Now, many of these photos of RDA have been around the internet for years. So why bother? Is there anything new to see? Well, yes there is (sort of!):

1) all older promo shots of RDA from his MacGyver days have been refurbished. That is, I've cleaned them up, removed the folds, the creases, the scan lines, the grain and have color-corrected them to the best of my ability.

Also, where possible, I've grouped the shots that are from the same photo session on one page. I have little idea of the MacGyver timeline and don't really know if they're in chronological order. I just organized them for variety between pages. I also grouped some of them just to save web space

2) All the new(er) RDA photos are screencaps from TV movies and Stargate SG-1 episodes where RDA is wearing leather. (If you can recall any shows that I've missed, let me know).

3) In my opinion, RDA has aged very well and has just gotten better over the years. The last shot on the site is proof of that - I think it's probably one of the most well-known and often-used photos in the RDA online fandom.

So there you have it!
